England (London, Brighton) – France (Paris) – Holland (Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Rotterdam) – Germany (Berlin, Munich) – Austria (Salzburg, Werfen, Vienna) – Italy (Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples)
In a graduation trip that took place over six weeks, I visited six countries and got a taste of Western Europe. It was my first time in a region of developed nations which had been through turbulent histories and played major roles in the earlier world wars. It was a rewarding journey seeing history come alive and relating my prior understanding learnt from textbooks to what I saw.
