Solemnization ceremony / 10 May 2009

Ten years ago when Hoining and I were classmates, we bonded over teenage conversations of love and finding the perfect person. A decade later, I found tears welling up in my eyes while photographing her exchanging vows with her first boyfriend. How they’ve managed to keep it going for 10 years in such times of change, I don’t know. But I suppose it is a reminder that, despite changing social notions on relationships, the possibility of a first true love still exists!
